Our first short film; Basement Transmisson's
A short psychological Horror Drama film.
A long sound engineer locks himself in his basement during the zombie apocalypse, creating an online radio show to keep fellow survivor's informed and up-to-date on the zombie outbreak. Until he gets a knock at his door, where everything may not be as it seems.
Working title; Tremor Radio
The story of Michael Softmore, an ameture sound engineer who's locked himself in his studio basement after waking in a hospital, beleiving to be in the middle of a zombie outbreak. There he utalises his knowledge of sound engineering and equipment to air an online radio show where he broadcasts to the world updates on the zombie appocalypse.

Appearance: They are dressed neatly, wearing well fitting jeans, boot’s / comfortable trainers, a dark t-shirt and an old but comfortable fitting pull over hoodie.
Personality: They are calming, relaxing and put people at ease quickly. They are professional and a skilled communicator.
Backstory: They are a family friend who work’s within the care industry who is analysing and looking after Michael. Clinical and direct to analyse Michael’s feeling and physical state.

Appearance: Dishevelled looking, wears jeans and a stained white t-shirt with a bathrobe one top.
Personality:
A; distant, shy and confused, timid and unsure of himself and the world around him.
B; Confident and direct, able to command his station and hold himself
Backstory: Michael previously had an epileptic episode, which is caused by a mixture of stress, lack of sleep and alcohol. This lead to a head injury which lead to a stay in the hospital.
Director / Writer
William Stokes;
completed studying for a media degree in 2017 before moving onto work in office spaces and within the live music industry for a number of years. This took a change towards the end of last year in a return to film making.
A little about this project.
Getting right into it, this project is unpaid. Of course all of the main things will be provided, food, drink and quality entertainment.

This project follows the story of Michael Softmore, an ammeter sound technician who has locked himself in his basement whilst the world around him succumbs to the zombie apocalypse. Whilst hiding out, he decides to utilise his sound equipment and miscellaneous knowledge to produce his own online radio show, broadcasting 24/7 to fellow survivors.
He scours the internet finding new information from submissions, reddit, tumblr and facebook posts, broadcasting the information to the world for their own safety.
That is, until his photographer friend Richard* knocks at his door and his entire world changes.

We have our studio location, where this currently is set to be planned over two weeks. the first weekend covering Michael's stand alone performances, the second featuring Michael and Richard*. However this will be discussed when all pieces are in place.
